I think Arma2 will be an interesting new game. The graphics and game dynamics should bring in some good game play, as you can see with the video below.

ARMA II introduces in-depth team-based combat, a comprehensive playbook of military
tactics and an enormous battlefield to push your strategies to the limit.

ARMA II benefits from a game engine that has been in constant development for 10 years and is used as the basis for training simulators used by armies across the globe.

ARMA II includes a campaign with an incredibly
detailed storyline, full of political intrigue and plot twists, which blurs the boundaries between fact and fiction.

ARMA II is set in Chernarus, a fictional post-
Soviet country, accurately recreated from geographical data of real landscape.

Storyline Background

In Chernarus, civil war has raged for two years after a long period of political instability,
caused by conflicts between a pro-Western coalition and communist-nationalist Chernarus Red Star Movement (ChDKZ, „Chedaki“). After ChDKZ was defeated by the democratic wing in the 2008 elections, tension escalated during the so-called September
Crisis.
With wide support from ethnic Russians in the Northern Province of Chernarus, insurgents attempted to reunite Northern Chernarus with Russia by force, but were defeated in the counter-insurgency operation „Northwind“. By the summer of 2009, remaining insurgent troops retreated to hideouts in the northern mountains.
In the autumn of 2009, „Chedaki“ surprisingly launched a major assault on government forces, led by infamous supreme warlord, nicknamed Akula („Shark“). In a few weeks insurgents seized most of the Northern Province, and declared independence from the Chernarussian government.
After negotiations to join Russia resulted in dismissal by Moscow, insurgents installed their own government and declared martial law, continuing to advance to the western part of the country. Government forces suffered heavy losses and the situation became critical. Alexander Baranov, the prime minister of Chernarus, asked NATO forces to assist in restoring peace and order in Chernarus.
The Alliance alerts its rapid reaction forces in the Euro-Asian theater. It is decided to send Marines to the area to prevent further civilian casualties in the ongoing conflict between „Chedaki„ and remnants of Chernarussian Defence Forces. A Marine Expeditionary
Force is deployed to take control of the situation.

Bohemia Interactive and IDEA Games have leaked more information about ARMA II. This latest intel takes an in-depth look at the huge selection of weaponry in this highly-anticipated military simulator, and can be analysed at ARMA II homepage.

ARMA II offers more than 40 weapons and man-portable rocket launchers of both Western and Eastern origin in over 80 variations, sporting different aiming devices or accessories. The accuracy and power of each weapon has been configured to real-life ammunition specifications as well as feedback on weapon behaviour based on the real-life experience of military advisors. Not only does ammunition type influence the power of a round, but also the number and colour of tracers, which were also designed according to real-life specifications.

The factions the player will meet in the game use their own assortment of pistols, assault rifles, rocket launchers, sniper rifles and machineguns. Special Forces use a multitude of unique personal weaponry, including silenced and camouflaged weapons or specially designed configurations, typical to the Russian Spetsnaz. Troops will use advanced anti-air and anti-armour rocket launchers, Guerrillas stick with older design guided rockets and proven RPG-7, together with commonly used sniper rifles, there are also high-calibre sniper rifles in camouflaged variants to go with sniper‘s ghillie suits.

All models created exactly to real world schematics with extreme precision and accompanied with short description and image, declassified in thematic groups can be analysed at ARMA II homepage.
